Dr. Burg is passionate about internal medicine and has a strong interest in advancing her skills in diagnostic ultrasound and endoscopy. She is deeply committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care and believes that helping patients live healthy, happy lives is the most rewarding part of veterinary medicine.
Born and raised in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, Dr. Burg earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Universidad Centroccidental Lisandro Alvarado in 2013. She later completed the ECFVG (AVMA) certification, successfully passed the NAVLE, and obtained her Florida veterinary license in 2025. Dr. Burg values building strong relationships with pet owners and enjoys working collaboratively to support pets through all stages of life. She is fluent in English and Spanish and is happy to assist Spanish-speaking clients.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Burg enjoys spending time with her husband and son. She shares her home with two cats, Papi and Mila. In her free time, she loves reading, dancing, and making special memories with her son during trips to Disney.
