Dr. Niamh Hart

Veterinarian, Fear Free Certified Professional

Dr. Niamh Hart received a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota in 2021 after completing a Bachelor’s in Biology and Environmental Studies at Florida State University in 2017. During vet school, she enjoyed a large breadth of study – including small animal medicine, large animal medicine, and wildlife rehab and research.

The integral role her family dogs played in her upbringing led to an immense appreciation for the bond between pet and owner; the joys of working in primary care are founded in supporting and sharing in this companionship each and every day. In general practice, Dr. Hart’s special interests are diagnostic imaging – specifically ultrasound, as well as dermatology and compassionate end-of-life care. Additionally, she is “Fear Free” certified to minimize patient stress in the hospital better.

While Dr. Hart actually enjoyed the cold and snowy winters of Minnesota, her native state of Florida called her home to family, friends, and – of course – the beaches! Outside of work, she enjoys reading, making art, and exploring all that Florida nature has to offer. Dr. Hart and her Lab mix, Boru, are excited to be a part of the Econ River community and to get to know you and your pet(s).

Her passion progressed over the years with her family pets having different medical conditions that required unique, individualized care to optimize the best possible outcome for each animal. Lead Veterinary Technician

I recently got married and moved to the Orlando area in November. My passion for animals started when I was really young, I’ve always had dogs and cats growing up and I always knew I wanted to go into the animal field one day. During high school I shadowed at an animal hospital in Ocala Fl, and really got to see how an animal hospital ran. I fell in love with the idea of being able to help and provide care for people’s four legged babies. I then graduated high school with my vet assistant certification back in 2017 and got hired as a kennel technician at the same animal hospital I shadowed at. I quickly got promoted to Veterinary technician and I’ve been in this field for 7 years. Animals are my passion, and my goal is to put a smile on your face and to care for your fur babies like they are my own, and to show compassion and empathy for worried pet parents.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband, friends and family taking the boat out, going on a jeep ride, or going four wheeling.

Veterinary Assistant

Meet Ashley, a compassionate Vet Tech with two years of invaluable experience in the field. Her dedication and love for her work shines through in her commitment to providing the best care possible to her animal patients, helping them enjoy long and joyful lives with their families.

Beyond her profession, Ashley’s nurturing spirit extends to her own pets, where she finds immense joy in their well-being. Additionally, she has a passion for indulging in delicious food, exploring her creative side through arts and crafts.

Veterinary Assistant

I’m currently in school with a major in animal science and am planning to attend vet school for large animal science in 2028! Go gators! I found my passion through my own animals at home and am so excited for everything in store for me at the clinic and for my career. I completed my certification as an agricultural associate in 2022 and am planning to complete my Vet tech certification later this fall. Outside of work I play tennis, go jet skiing, and love spending time with my family whenever I can.

Veterinary Assistant

I am currently attending UCF and am majoring in Pre-Vet/Zoology. My goal is to attend vet school at the University of Florida (Go Gators!) and specialize in large animal medicine. I found my passion for caring for animals with my own fur babies at home! Last year I started my own LLC where I care for my clients horses and pets, and assist them with their daily chores or needs while they’re away on vacation! Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, caring for my own animals at home, and training my horse!
